Although I originally designed the oatmeal for mom, and my families' own use, the excitement that built through word of mouth encouraged me to take it further. I spent the next four years analyzing each ingredient for its nutritional value, texture and taste. The berries were added at the end when I found I was still using a sweetener.
CHOO-IT has been described as a cereal/trail-mix hybrid. It is delicious hot or cold, on yogurt, or right out of the bag.
My mom loved cooking, health and the outdoors – she always believed in me and my passion for design. I thank her for all the support she gave me.
My mom Sally Campbell lost her battle to cancer on January 22, 2007. I became a strong supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) – participating in walks, runs and fundraisers. I donate $1 of every 1230g container sold to the CBCF.
